The idea for this website was created several years ago and has created quite a lot of interest mostly from ex Rhynie people . Feedback has come from Canada , USA , South Africa , Middle and Far East , Australia , Germany and other European countries . The distinctive logo was created was Vanessa Combe , it symbolises the main features of Rhynie that we all know .
I have many Rhynie postcards and photographs of the Rhynie area and have displayed them over recent years , these have now been removed . The Photo Page remains the same - dedicated to Robert Warrack Morrison the Aberdeen sculptor who created the Rhynie War Memorial . It is a magnificent piece of work , I have follwed up quite a lot of Robert Morrison's work and it is all good but the Rhynie piece of work stands out best of all . The second Photo Page has a few old postcard shots of Rhynie and the Cabrach . Anyone who wants to add a photograph or postcard image is welcome to do so , please make contact .
